I also hosted music class and afterwards we played outside in the water - it was like a mini water park, then read a bunch of books.
In the evening we spent time with a friend who's husband is also deployed and made hand-cranked ice cream, we also talked about family customs/traditions regarding prayer (a few of our friends sit reverently while we pray, asking blessings for our food - and Tommy finally asked why she didn't pray our prayer - and she said that she said thanks in her head for friends to eat with - it was really neat seeing this happen organically).
